Term 4 Principal's Award...

Today at assembly Mrs Henderson presented the Principal's Award to a student from each of our junior classes.

This special award recognises excellence and effort at school and demonstration of all of our school values. For example, always trying our best, showing respect to others, showing resilience when things get hard, taking responsibility for our things, giving things a go even when we're not sure ...

This term Eshaan was the deserved recipient of the Principal's Award for B5.  Well done Eshaan!

Sock Puppets...

As part of our inquiry we've been exploring different types of art and entertainment. This week we've been making sock puppets. We designed our puppets then brought in bits and bobs to create some very cool characters. Next thing we're going to do is get together in groups and make up a puppet show. Next week some of the B block classes will be sharing our shows with one another.

Meet our sock puppets...

Christmas is Coming...

The end of year is nigh and we are starting to get ready for Christmas!

Our class have written letters to Santa and we've sent these off to the North Pole.  We are hoping we hear back before the end of the school year.  We wanted copies to take home too, so they're coming home today...

We had buddy class on Friday.  It's always lots of fun.  This time we drew around one another's hands and then coloured them to look like leaves.  We carefully cut around all the fingers and then curled them.  Guess what we were making?  A Christmas Tree!  Over the next few weeks we will make some special decorations.

Karate Super-Star...

We are very proud of our very own Karate super-star, Eshaan.

He and his brother attended a Seido Karate Tournament in Sydney, Australia last week. Eshaan came 1st in his division and his big brother came 2nd.

Today Eshaan brought in his certificates and his trophy to share with the class.  We are all very impressed!  Nice work Eshaan 😀
